Christina Rose was born in Naples, Italy, to American parents, Mary and Allen Polkowski, a US Navy serviceman who was stationed in Italy at the time. She was raised in Macomb Twp., MI and is one of four girls.Rose started performing in the family band, The Odyssey Sound System, at a very young age. She sang in the school choir at Dakota High School and performed in every high school play and musical in productions such as Adelaide in "Guys & Dolls" and Anita in "West Side Story". With the ambition of performing on Broadway she received her BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Central Michigan University and performed in various productions: Leisl in "The Sound of Music", Ronette in "Little Shop of Horrors", Roxie in "Chicago", and Rosa Bud in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". She was also a prominent member of the "Orchesis Dance Company" at CMU.Rose spent the summer of her Junior year in New York City and auditioned for and booked the National Tour of "Oklahoma!" (Susan Stroman). Insistent on graduating from college with her degree she was placed on the replacements list for the tour. Because of this, Rose had a job with the show the day after she graduated from college. She toured with the company for a year before moving to New York City. After various Theatre, TV, and Commercial bookings Rose landed her dream job on Broadway. In Kathleen Marshall's "Grease" at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.The Financial Crisis of 2008 lead to many Broadway shows closing including "Grease". At this point, after starring in a few Independent Films, Rose moved to LA to pursue a career in TV, Film, and Voiceover.
